Love, love, love these ladies! I transferred in at 28 weeks pregnant from an OB/hospital birth plan. They took me right in and made me feel like family which is just what I was looking for. I appreciated the longer appointment times. I never felt rushed. I always felt heard. I also really appreciate that they didn’t make a big deal about being over 35 and pregnant. My unmedicated birth center birth was everything that I hoped it would be.
They are very family friendly
I adored my experience with Stand and Deliver and the midwives here! The birth center is very comfortable and the Prenatal and postnatal care is unmatched! They are very family friendly and I was able to have my kids at many appointments with no problems! Both midwives are amazing, competent women, I felt like I was in great hands and had a very peaceful birth!
I can’t recommend Stand and Deliver enough
I literally had the perfect/exact birth experience I wanted thanks to Stand and Deliver. The whole team, Tina, Kerry, Katelyn and Trisa are amazing and truly care so much about each mom and their baby, you can feel it.
I originally had an OBGYN but didn’t feel “seen” and this was my first birth and it was very important that I did it naturally without any medical intervention. Once I had my first call with Tina, I know this was the right fit for me and switched over. Kerry was my midwife and omg…she’s freaking amazing! You can just tell she has so much experience, I felt so confident going into this experience thanks to her. She knows all the tips and tricks when it comes to natural inducement. This was my first baby, so my body needed a little extra help to get it going. Each checkup was almost an hour, they would answer any question and really made me feel special and not just an ‘in-and-out’ situation I was getting seeing the OBGYN before. They are not pushing with anything and totally let you take control of your birth plans and just follow along. The room I gave birth in was so soothing, they had dimmed lights, candles, an oil diffuser and it was so large and cozy. I was also able to bring whatever and whoever I wanted.
I can’t recommend Stand and Deliver enough for a natural unmediated birthing center! I’m so glad I made the decision to go with them and plan on going back if I have any more babies.

My family and I love Stand and Deliver! I have had three home births with Tina and Kerry attending. All three were amazing experiences and I’m so glad that we decided to go this route. Tina has always been great about answering any questions I have had and is very knowledgeable about prenatal and postnatal care. If you are looking for a natural birth then I would highly recommend Stand and Deliver!
I absolutely loved the midwives here
I wouldn’t have wanted to give birth any other way! I absolutely loved the midwives here and how they kept me calm throughout my whole experience. They were so encouraging when I felt most vulnerable. Such a wonderful experience overall. I wouldn’t recommend any other birth center than this one! Kerry and Tina are truly such a blessing to our growing family ❤️
Absolutely amazing
After having six babies in the hospital, we decided to try a home birth, and a friend recommended Tina & Kerry with Stand & Deliver. We were so amazed how much more pleasant a home birth was and how accommodating and personable both midwives were, that we decided to stay with them for all future births. So far we have had four babies with the assistance of the Stand & Deliver Team, and we highly recommend them to all our friends who are looking for a midwife/birthing center. Tina and Kerry and the team have been absolutely amazing, and I look forward to our next birth if the Lord will bless us with another baby!

Magical birth experience!
What a magical birth experience! I would 1000% recommend having your baby here. The staff is so loving, knowledgeable, and kind. The birth center’s atmosphere felt like home, and I knew this is where I wanted to have my baby naturally. I had him 36 minutes after I arrived as a “first time mom.” Believe in yourself!

Awesome Job
They are very friendly and made me feel comfortable at all my appointments and the birth. They are really knowledgeable and professional as well. They are quick to respond if you need to call or text them with questions. The prenatal appointments were usually an hour of chatting in what looked more like a living room than a doctor’s office. The visits had a very cozy feeling.
There was never even a wait to be seen, and everything is very child friendly if you are bringing older siblings along. They really included my older kids in the whole process, even letting my daughter hold the Doppler to hear the baby’s heartbeat. I ended up having a great home birth, although my labor was super short and fast. My 6 year old got to cut the umbilical cord. It was so special having my older kids in the house during the birth to be the first visitors with the new baby. They felt very important and were able to really bond with their baby brother. Tina and Kerry did a great job taking care of us after the birth and making sure we were all safe and healthy. They did a great job and I would highly recommend Stand and Deliver Midwifery.
Kerry and Tina were great
They take their time with every office visit and answer all the questions you have. During my labor and delivery they were there for me all night long and were very calm and encouraging. They never rushed me or made me feel fearful. I knew that I was in skilled experienced hands and they would do whatever was best for me and my child (even if that meant sending us to the hospital). After delivery they made sure baby and I were doing well, that we were nursing, and even washed and dried all of our laundry from the birth.
Postpartum we had two home visits to check on baby and momma and we have a six week appointment at the office. They are always a text or call away if you have any questions or issues which is a huge blessing. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend Kerry and Tina to anyone looking to have a home
birth.

'No brainer'
I first met Tina and Kerry when I was with my friend for her delivery at a local hospital. They were on shift and I got an inside peek at how well they took care of my friend and how great they work as a team. So when I got pregnant I KNEW I wanted them! Pensacola doesn’t have a whole lot of options for birthing mommas and Stand & Deliver fills a major need in our community which I couldn’t be more thankful for. From the moment I was in their care I felt nothing but undivided attention. I knew I was a priority. I knew that they would be there for me and my baby. They spent any time necessary at our appointments building a relationship with me. When my water broke, nothing went as we had planned. It’s funny in hindsight that I ever thought I was in charge. I had an idea of how my birth was going to be and I learned in a quick way that my little girl had plans of her own. Through it all I knew I was in professional and skilled hands. I KNEW and felt nothing but confidence, calm, and peace during labor. Birth isn’t something that can be controlled but instead it is something to be respected. They trusted the process, they trusted my body, and I trusted their skills. Kerry and Tina helped me deliver my baby girl in the comfort of my home, surrounded by candles and music and my family. There were a few moments when I was getting tired and instead of feeling pressured or made to feel nervous, they gave me words of encouragement. They backed away when they sensed I needed my husband. In fact, relying on my husband as my support was such an empowering moment for our marriage. We danced together while my body was working our baby down. I fell in love with him all over again that day! I don’t know that I would have had that experience if I had other care providers. Privacy and quiet were very important to me and I was given just that. There was no invasiveness, nobody in my face asking me to sign papers or asking me questions while I was in labor. No unnecessary cervical checks or continual monitoring. I never feared that their shift was going to be over and they would leave me to someone else. In fact, they were at my house from start to finish. They played with my son and my puppy when I was in between contractions, rubbed my back when I needed it, shared their own birth stories, made themselves cups of tea in my kitchen, celebrated with BIRTHday cake that they kindly brought for us (they knew it was a tradition and filled in for my long distance family), etc. I loved every minute of it. I feel like this is how it is supposed to be; peaceful, calm, serene, and homey. My little daughter was born into a space of love and tranquility, which wouldn’t have been an option without these 2 amazing midwives. If we have another baby I will hire Stand & Deliver again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend them enough!
WONDERFUL practice
These two women are extremely knowledgeable & experienced, caring & fun. I had a beautiful home birthing experience with them. I am in the health care field myself, and recently moved to the Pensacola area. I was looking for the right team to guide me through a happy, healthy, and safe home birth, and was lucky enough to get in touch with Kerry & Tina. Their approach to women’s health care is THE WAY to go! My past experiences with OB/GYN care were far from acceptable. I had unnecessary testing, hurried visits, multiple doctors and nurses, none of which knew me as more than a name on a chart, and I couldn’t wait to get out of the office. Stand and Deliver is the complete opposite! Kerry & Tina spend TIME with you, they get to know you and your family, they erase any fears associated with pregnancy & childbirth, andleave you feeling educated, empowered, and in control of your body and confident that you can have a safe and perfect birthing experience in your own home. I highly recommend these women and this practice. Thank you Kerry & Tina!
Comfort of my own home
I wanted complete autonomy on how I delivered without the pressure of unnecessary medical interventions if not needed. As an ICU Nurse myself I was impressed with Kerry and Tina’s NICU and Labor/Delivery experience. Kerry made me feel so safe with our decision to go with home birth. The best part of this practice is they know their limitations and will NOT put you or baby in an unsafe situation. Their adjuncts for resuscitation in case of an emergency were explained well and a thorough emergency plan was set in place during our home visit a month before baby’s due date. My husband was deployed at the time of my pregnancy. The plan was for him to get home before baby was due, but she had a mind of her own and came 3 weeks early, and both Kerry and Tina were there for me. Being able to FaceTime with my husband was important. In the hospital the policy is to not record/video the birth, so I wouldn’t have been able to share that moment if I wasn’t in the comfort of my home. Recovery was so much more relaxing at home. I live in Niceville and they came back to the house for our 24hr check up. I will say the drives from Niceville to Pensacola are pretty long but completely worth it. Kerry and Tina also worked with me and were able to schedule some of my imaging and baby hearing appointments out here in Niceville to make it easier.

I wish they had started earlier so I could’ve had my son with them. They were great every step of the way. Although I had my daughter very fast, they were quick to respond. The only mistake I did was not call them sooner to come to my house! I didn’t think my labor was going to be only 2 hours. They walked you through having your child every step of the way. They encourage you while giving birth. They allow you to have time for your baby and they don’t take your child away from you right away to weigh and wipe them and such. They allow you to do the birth on your own. I will not have it any other way! Having a home birth is the best thing to ever happen to my daughter. You weren’t forced into doing anything you don’t want to do. Both Tina and Kerry knew what they were doing and would not harm your baby in any way. The knew that if something was not right, they would take you to the hospital but in this case I was lucky enough to have my birth at home. So much more peaceful and relaxing. My labor was so easy, no joke, it hurt but it wasn’t painful! Being able to have a water birth in that hot water allowed me to relax and have the perfect birth. Tina helped my husband with putting hot towel on my low back which alleviated the pain so much. They were both hands on. I will definitely go to them every time I get pregnant! It is more affordable than a hospital.

They genuinely care not only for you but your family and take the time to get to know you and of course answer and questions and concerns you may have. My kiddos and I look forward to every appointment because its like visiting friends instead of a provider. I honestly cannot recommend them enough! I honestly cannot say enough good things about them. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
